User Documentation
This is documentation to guide potential users of our art gallery system to get started for both the web and android frontends.
Welcome Page
This is the first page of our art gallery system. You can click the "Login/Sign up" button on the page to create a new account or log in to the system with your created account. If you are a new user, you can see this user manual from our welcome page by clicking the "User Manual" button.
Login Page
This is the login page. You can enter your username & password and click the "Login" button to go to your home page. If you don't have an account, please click the "Sign Up" button to create a new account.
Sign up page
Once you click the "Sign up" button on the login page, you will go to this sign-up page to create your account. Please enter your valid username, password, email, and avatar. And please repeat your password on the third textbox. Please note: existing username and not equal password will cause an error and you cannot sign up successfully.
Home page
This is the home page showing all art pieces available now. Please click the "My Account" button if you wish to see your account information. Please click the "Upload" button if you wish to upload a new art piece. Please click the "Logout" button if you wish to logout. If you want to purchase the desired art piece you can click the art piece picture to see its detailed information.
Upload page
This is the upload page for artists. If you want to upload your art piece just click the "Upload" button on the home page and you will go to this page. Please enter the name, image URL, author, price, and date of the art piece. Please select your registered artist name. Click the "Create!" button to upload it. Click the "Reset" button if you want to delete all information and enter again. Click the "Cancel" button to go back to the home page.
Art Piece Information page
Once you want to purchase an art piece. Click the art piece image at first and its information will be shown on the art piece information page. And then click the "Purchase" button to purchase it. If you do not want to purchase it anymore. You can go back to the home page at any time just by clicking the "Back" button.
Purchase page
On this page, you can choose to either pay with a credit card or debit card. Besides, you can enter your 16 digits Card ID and choose the delivery address or delivery store. The parcel delivery method allows you to choose from the existing address if you want to choose a new address just click the "Parcel delivery to a new address". Once you have error information you can click the "Reset" button to reset all stuff on this page. Click the "Back" button to go back to the home page if you wish. If your purchase is successful, you will see a successful message on the screen and you will go back to the home page. Congratulations! You buy your art piece Successfully!
Parcel Delivery to new address
Once you click the "Parcel Delivery to a New Address" you can enter all delivery information you need on this pop-up. Please enter your valid Country, City, Postal Code, Province, Street Address, Phone number, and name. Please click "Confirm" to purchase or click "Cancel" to go back to the purchase page.
Account Information page
Once you click the "My Account" button on the home page, you will go into this account information page. Every art piece you purchased will be shown in the table with order id, art piece name, purchase date, and delivery status provided. Every art piece you uploaded will be shown in the table as well, with the art piece ID, name, upload date, and status provided. You can see all the addresses here as well. What's more, you can add your new address on this page by clicking the "Add Address" button. If you wish to go back to the home page, just click the "Back" button.
Add address
Once you click the "Add Address" button on the Account Information page, you will see this pop-up window. Please enter your valid name, phone number, street address, city, province, postal code, and country to create a new address. Once you created, click the "Confirm" button to confirm. If you want to go back to the account information page just click the "Cancel" button.
Welcome page
The first page is the welcome page. It contains two buttons: LOGIN/SIGNUP and USER MANUAL. If you are a new user, you can click USER MANUAL to see how to use this app. If you click the LOGIN/SIGNUP, you will directly go to the login page.
Login page
On this page, you can click the Signup button to signup for a new account or you can choose to login with an existing account. Please enter your username and password in two blanks. Notice: If the password is wrong, an error message will be shown telling you the password is wrong.
Signup page
You signup for your new account on this page. Please enter your name, password, email, and avatar. Also, please repeat your password on the third blank. If the password entered is not the same as the password you first entered, then an error message will appear telling you that the passwords are not the same. Besides, if the username you entered already exists then an error message will you that and ask you to change your username.
Home page
After log into your account, you will see the home page. There are three buttons on this page. You can click MY ACCOUNT if you want to see your account information. You can click UPLOAD to upload your art piece. You can click LOGOUT to go back to the welcome page. You can scroll down the art piece area to view different art pieces. Click the art piece to see its detailed information and to purchase it. Once you click it, you will go to the art piece information page.
Upload Page
Once you click the UPLOAD button, you will see the upload page. You enter the name, URL, author, date, and artist(s) of the art piece. You can search the artist by entering her/his name! Then you click CREAT! to create your art piece, if the creation success, then you will see your art piece on the home page. You can click cancel to go back to the home page.
Art Piece Information Page
The art piece's id, price, and the author will be shown on this page. You can click BACK to go back to the home page or you can click PURCHASE to buy your desired art piece.
Purchase Page
Once you click the PURCHASE button on the art piece information page, you will need to choose your payment method and delivery address on this page. The first thing to do is to choose your payment method, you can either use your credit card or debit card. Then, please enter your 16 digit card number. Notice: if the card number is not 16 digits, you will see an error message when you purchase it. When it comes to the delivery part, you can choose to pick up at a store or a parcel delivery. If you haven't added any addresses before, you can click the APPLY NEW ADDRESS bottom. Once you click the PURCHASE button and everything you entered is correct you will see the congratulation page telling you that you buy the art piece successfully!
Apply new address
Once the button is clicked, you will go to this page to enter your address. You will be asked to enter your name, street address, postal code, country, province, city, and phone number. You click CONFIRM when you finish entering or you can click CANCEL to go back to the purchase page.
