Some words about the PHP Firebird driver

After controversial discussions with the PHP community regarding the further development of the ibase driver, we decided to distribute the driver under the leadership of the Firebird community.

However, this is only the first step in a long journey to further develop the driver and its capabilities.

We are all volunteer developers, testers and authors. Therefore, we ask for your understanding that not every wish can be implemented immediately. Of course donations help immensely. Equally helpful is active participation in this project. Everyone can participate. Just talk to us.
