# Lesson Plan Unit 1 : Open Science is just science done well. Concepts and history .

## Goals

- present the motivations behind the movement for OS.
- show that Open Sciences practices are only rigorous research practices.
- demonstrate that the current research assessment system does not play in favour of early career researchers.

Note: If the training is relying heavily on presentations then another option for the plan layout is to provided in a slide by slide using slide thumbnails in the topic column. In this case each row in the table should refer to a separate slide in the presentation.
