New Features check often to see what is new with Laserweb
This page will document the features to LaserWeb as they are added. Please check back often to see what is new.
###December 20. 2016 @quillford has added a feature to load & save preset machine profiles.
###November 27. 2016 Claudio Prezzi has added a bunch of new features:
- Zeroing axes independently by clicking on DRO label.
- Overrides to change feed and laser power (spindle speed) while running job. Click up/down for 1% step, ctrl+click for 10% step. Click on label resets to 100%. Override elements are hidden until LaserWeb is connected to a controller (firmware) that supports it!
- Laser test fire button. Power and duration configurable in settings.
- Character counting protocoll for Grbl (faster & less jerky).
- Improvements on Pause/Resume/Stop.
For GRBL users: you need to update to v1.1e!!!
###September 8. 2016 Monte Krol has been busy fixing bugs. Check the commits log if you are interested in seeing what has been fixed.
###September 5, 2016 - Monte Krol has added a cumulative elapsed time feature. This will give you an approximation of how many hours you have on your laser tube. This will help you plan for maintenance and tube replacement.
###September 4, 2016 - Monte Krol has added a great little feature to LaserWeb....there is now an elapsed job time displayed in the terminal window when the job is complete. This can help with billing customers for those that use their lasers to make money. It is also a way of tracking how much time you have used your laser tube for.
