I'm proud to announce the immediate availability of MyBB Wiki v1.1.1. This update adds in a plethora of new features and kills some bugs, including:

  • Styling via a CSS Stylesheet
  • The removal of the old revisions section. It is now style-able by targeting ".diff-report ins" and ".diff-report del" in the CSS.
  • A new Upgraders system in the Admin CP to run upgrade paths for the wiki, which will come in droves!
  • Categories are now editable!
  • The installer will now not fail when a custom admin dir is set.
  • Old, crufty docs section has been replaced with a new streamlined one that loads Markdown files. This makes it easier to manage on the backend as I can easily add and edit new docs.
  • The update checker can now determine if the upgrader will need to be run.
  • General code cleanup
  • Permissions will no longer disappear when all permissions are revoked for a group.
  • Wiki Article titles are now displayed in MyAlerts.
  • Hooks have been added to the action of watching the wiki.

Known Issues:

  • The file to_1_1_1.txt in inc/plugins/wiki/upgraders is a placeholder and determines how the upgrader should be formatted. It will likely be removed in the next version, but it is harmless and can be ignored.

Upgrader: No

The plugin does not need to be uninstalled and reinstalled as there are no schema changes. You must simply upload the new files.

I'm proud to push v1.1.0 of MyBB Wiki.

Fixes:

  • The article options are now viewable on any page.
  • Fixed a few language errors

New Features:

  • MyAlerts integration. If MyAlerts is installed, users can opt to "Watch" articles. When an article is edited, all users who are watching it are sent an alert that informs them that the article has been edited, and offers a link to the new article.

Known Issues:

  • Alerts do not display titles (planned to fix for v1.1.1)

Updating is simply uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin. It is recommended that you export articles before running the upgrade and importing them after. Admins by default do NOT have permission to export the wiki.

v1.0.2
