Original 64bit build (Windows 10 & 11)
- no changes were done to the original portable now called x64 10-11 meaning this build is 64bit and require Windows 10 or 11 (supposedly Windows 8 should also work but it does not probably an issue of pyqt haven't tested that yet)
New 32bit build (Windows Vista)
- what is actually new is the x86 Vista build, yes, I managed to somehow make yt-dl_portable work on 32bit Vista, this is a hacky solution and it's definitively not finalized, it only works if the program is opened in python not pythonw, that means you get a cmd as well as the gui, this build is not thoroughly tested, but downloading and listing dependencies works!
dependecy versions:
- git 2.44.0.windows.1 (runs but fails to download I think, will be looked into, latest version)
- Python 3.7.9 (seems to be the latest working, 3.8.0 would just crash, Aug. 17, 2020)
- qt 5.9.3 (this is a really old qt version but newer would just crash, released Nov. 24, 2017)
- sip 4.19.8 (might be possible to update but I don't know yet, Feb. 17, 2018)
- yt-dlp 2023.11.16 (this is actually the latest version and it just works!)
- ffmpeg 2.8.5 (I could probably get a newer one working but I haven't tested more, Jan. 15, 2016)
afterword
- I don't know if I will be publishing more versions, for example windows 10 x86 or Windows 8 version, I might, I also might not.
- reason for the vista build is my recent interest in Windows Vista, and this build won't be getting dependency updates, I will find one set that I'm comfortable with and just update the yt-dl folder.
- only build that I currently have in might be x86 Windows 8, but I'm not promising anything (would be pyqt5)
- I think that XP build is extremely unlikely, but I may investigate it, but still not promises.

- Default quality is now "normal" with extenction mp4, requested by Raf (he requested mp4 and option to choose defaultQuality, that will come in a later release)

- open yt_dl_portable and on the update tab select all and hit update, when it's done close the program and open it again it should be 2.2.2.1
- if is crashes during the update run panic_fix.bat

Updates to portable
- new update to panic_fix.bat this time it uninstalls all of qt6 and installs it back, fixes stuff if qt really breaks.
If you don't need to update Python and ffmpeg follow these steps:
- close all instances of yt-dl_portable and run panic_fix.bat this updates all dependencies except yt-dl, python and ffmpeg
- than open yt_dl_portable and on the update tab select yt-dl and hit update, this will change the version to 2.2.1.10
yt-dl_portable doesn't open after running update all
- if you ran update all from yt-dl_portable and yt-dl closed and now doesn't start run panic_fix.bat and follow instructions in the terminal.
reason why this happens is that yt-dl tries to update QT while running under QT which breaks stuff.

I you don't need to update Python and ffmpeg follow these steps:
- open yt-dl_portable
- go to Update tab select yt-dl and hit Update
- once done close yt-dl_portable and run *panic_fix.bat and follow the istruction in the terminal
- relaunch yt-dl_portable
This updates yt-dl, qt, yt-dlp but doesn't update Python and ffmpeg
*Updating qt from withing a qt makes it crash and interrupt the update leaving you with a corrupted qt, panic_fix.bat is made to fix that, running it will always update pip, qt, yt-dlp.

I've updated dependecies in the portable and hopefully fixed the issues where the previous would refuse to start
also fixing the issue where in the previous release re-encoded didn't work
I also added a debug bat file, it's for me to debug lol.
knows issues, subs does not work for now, I will fix it in the next release.
