Here's a detailed rundown of Gale's features:

• Download, install and manage mods and their dependencies

  Mods in Gale are organized into profiles, without touching the base game files. You can install, update, uninstall and launch mods with just a few clicks. Gale uses Thunderstore's API, which means you have access all the same mods as other similar managers.

• Support for every game on Thunderstore

  Gale supports all the games and modding frameworks currently found on Thunderstore and in similar mod managers.

• Import & export profiles

  Like with other thunderstore clients, Gale allows you to export/import profiles to/from codes and files. These are fully compatible with r2modman and Thunderstore Mod Manager.

• Feature-rich config editor

  BepInEx .cfg and WEBFISHING TackleBox .json files can be edited directly in the app, where options are shown as checkboxes, sliders and input fields instead of raw text.

• Modpack creator

  Profiles can be exported as proper modpacks and directly uploaded to Thunderstore from inside Gale. Note that this requires an account and a (free) API token from Thunderstore.

• Launch games with any number of instances

  Gale launches games either via your launcher (Steam, Epic Games, e.t.c.) or directly from the executable. When using the Direct launch mode, you can specify how many instances of the game to launch, as well as a delay between launches.

• Blazingly fast

  Built with speed in mind, Gale starts up and runs considerably faster than other mod managers.

• Effective disk usage

  By linking mod files instead of copying, Gale only needs to store one copy of each mod across all your profiles. This significantly reduces disk usage and install times compared to other alternatives. The app itself is also very small, only taking ~15 MB of space.

• Automatically transfer profiles from other managers

  Gale detects installations of r2modman and Thunderstore Mod Manager and allows you to transfer your previously used profiles in a single click.
