Hi there 👋

I'm João Paulo

An Information Retrieval researcher who likes to develop, analyze data and inovate on computer area.

 

Resume

João Almeida obtained his doctorate in Computer Science from the Federal University of Bahia, Salvador, Brazil. He also is a professor at the Federal Institute of Sergipe, teaching in the Information Systems graduation course since May/2021. He received his MSc in Applied Computing and Computer Engineering degree from the State University of Feira de Santana, Feira de Santana, Brazil. He also has worked as a Professor in the Adventist college of Bahia, lectured in Database, Computer Architecture, and Operational Systems. His areas of interest are Machine Learning, Information Retrieval, and Recommender Systems.
