Getting Started

To start using BadgeGiver and obtain the Active Developer Badge on Discord, follow these simple steps:

Enable Discord Data Usage: Ensure that the 'Use data to improve Discord' toggle is switched on in your Discord settings under Privacy & Safety, and confirm that you currently do not possess the Active Developer Badge. (You need to wait for a day before you can run the script if you have the toggle off)

  2. Download node.js: In order to run the script, you must download node.js on to your computer.

  3. Visit and download the latest releases: Navigate to the latest releases on GitHub and download it.

  4. Extract the files: Once you have downloaded the file, navigate to the folder where you downloaded the .zip file and extract it.

  5. [Windows Only] Run the script: Open the folder where the files has been extracted, click "start_windows.bat".

5.1. [Linux & Mac Only] Run the script: Open the folder where the files has been extracted, click "start_linux.sh".

  1. Follow the instructions: Soon after running the script, it'll install required packages and run the script itself. Now follow the console's instructions.

  2. Wait for your badge: After you followed everything what the console says to do, you'll now wait. (Normally you need to wait for a day.)

  3. Receive Your Badge: Once you've completed the necessary steps, you'll should receive the Active Developer Badge on Discord!
