Running Ginger using CLI

Command Line Interface

Enable to create Windows .bat file or shortcut which will start Ginger execution without loading Ginger UI for example automatically open a solution select run set and environment and start executing

Ginger will start in Console mode and based on the CLI arguments execute a set of commands

Use: ginger.Exe or gingerCosnole.dll##

There are several options

ConfigFile – exist today + Hide Auto run window

Run using Ginger.

RunSetFile – xml dynamic flows – no predefined run set, all dynamic from xml

ScriptFile – C# Rsolyn

arams in CLI - /// - /Solution /RunSet / /Env /…

ExitCodes

0 – Execution Pass 1 - Execution Fail – one or more BF failed 2 – Cannot Execute Analyzer issues 3 – Cannot Execute – contain 4.6 items, solution serialization failed – in runset when running on Linix or when running on Windows with GingerConsole
