PROBLEM STATEMENT I :

Lack of an economically accommodating system to curb and manage waste.

PROBLEM STATEMENT II :

State of the informal garbage collectors in the country.

The Solution:

Our idea defines an Everyday Waste Control System gamified by a ‘Credit’ based ideology that will provide just the right push to the people in a country like India to start managing their waste better.

How to use the Web App

Clone the repository

git clone https://github.com/GenHax/phantomPain

Move to the directory

cd phantomPain

Install node.js (ignore if already installed)

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install nodejs

Install mongodb (ignore if already installed)

sudo apt-key adv --keyserver hkp://keyserver.ubuntu.com:80 --recv 9DA31620334BD75D9DCB49F368818C72E52529D4

echo "deb [ arch=amd64 ] https://repo.mongodb.org/apt/ubuntu bionic/mongodb-org/4.0 multiverse" | sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/mongodb-org-4.0.list

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install -y mongodb-org

Install npm in the directory

sudo apt-get install npm

Start the mongodb database

sudo service mongodb start

mongod

Start the web app

npm start
