This Wiki is meant to serve as guidelines for pretty much anything related to the Game Boy Zero - Handheld Edition

Versions

There are two versions of the Game Boy Zero - Handheld Edition

  • Single Board

    • This is the original KickStarter campaign version, and were available for the Participant and Haliday Express reward levels
    • Top
      • Face buttons (A,B,X,Y)
      • Directional buttons (up, down, left right)
      • Action buttons (start, select)
      • 2.8" TFT LCD
    • Bottom
      • Raspberry Pi Zero footprint
      • Power Switch
      • LED indicator
      • TP4056 Battery Charging Module
      • Battery connector
      • Shoulder and Trigger buttons (L1,L2,R1,R2)
  • Dual Board

    • The Dual Board is the next iteration of the Game Boy Zero - Handheld Edition that seperates the Shoulder Buttons onto it's own PCB
    • All the same features as the Single Board
    • Creates a 'sandwich' to enable better battry placement in between the two PCBs
