Esther Plomp

Hi! I'm Esther. I work as postdoc/research developer at the University of Aruba. Before that I was a Data Steward at Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands. And before that I did a PhD in bioarchaeology, studying the isotopic composition of human teeth.

🔭 I’m currently working on:

  • Trying to get some data on what data/code is shared at the Faculty of Applied Sciences, TU Delft, thanks to an eScience Center Fellowship.
  • Contemplating the dynamics of volunteer/paid contributions in open science/source communities, particularly The Turing Way, thanks to a Software Sustainability Institute Fellowship.

🌱 I’m currently learning:

  • How to get that data (on data/code availability) in an automated way :)
  • Adapting to a small university setting!
