Hosting

The majority of LocatorHub and ArcGIS users use ArcGIS Online for their public-facing applications and use either ArcGIS Online or Portal for ArcGIS for their internal applications.

If your application is intended for internal use and you are using Portal for ArcGIS for internal users, you should host the application (or the Web App Builder application) on your Portal for ArcGIS server.

If your application is intended for internal use and you are using ArcGIS Online for internal users, you should host the application on any convenient server which is accessible internally, such as the LocatorHub server.

If your application is intended for public use, you should host the application on any convenient server which is accessible from the internet, such as the LocatorHub server.
