Tether "ADB" Driver Installation for Windows

To complete your Tether installation, you must install the corresponding software for your mobile phone to allow it to connect to your PC. This software is provided by your phone's manufacturer. Below, you can find a list of popular manufacturers, and their appropriate drivers.

Motorola

Google

Google Driver THIS DRIVER WILL NOT WORK ON THE GALAXY NEXUS. PLEASE USE THE SAMSUNG DRIVERS BELOW.

Samsung

Samsung Driver, including Galaxy Nexus (works for most devices)

If that does not work, please try the following:

1. Go to the Samsung Mobile site
2. Search for your phone using the search box.
3. Once you find your phone, click Support in the top right of the phone's product page.
4. In the list of downloads, download and install the USB Driver.

HTC

HTC Driver (works for most devices)

If that does not work, please try the following:

1. Go to the HTC site
2. Search for your phone using the search box.
3. Once you find your phone, click Support in the bottom left of the phone's product page.
4. In the support page, click the downloads tab.
5. Download the HTC Sync application.
6. After downloading HTC Sync, start the installation process. You only need to install the USB driver and not the app itself.

LG Electronics

LG Driver (works for most devices)

If that does not work, please try the following:

1. Go to the LG site
2. Search for your phone using the search box.
3. Once you find your phone, click the Resources tab.
4. In the support page, click the downloads tab.
5. Download and install the USB driver.

Some of them are in bundled series (Xperia line, minus the Play), and some are individual packages. Look for your specific model.
