Artur-Sulej/README.md

Hey there! My name is Artur. Over the past decade, I’ve honed my skills as a software engineer, tackling projects of various scales and complexities. I started my career as an Android developer before moving on to backend with Ruby and Elixir. I love learning new tech and recently I got hooked on Rust

I’m passionate about DIY projects and anything creative. Programming is my way of bringing my ideas to life without making a mess at home. When I’m not working, you can find me spending quality time and traveling with my family as a happy husband and dad.

I also give talks – you can find them here:

  • Ruby as a node @ Code BEAM US, 7 mar 2024, San Francisco: Repository, Slides
  • Deumbrellization – cheap microservices @ Code BEAM EU, 19 paź 2023, Berlin: Repository, Slides, Video
  • Safer DB migrations with excellent_migrations @ ElixirConf EU, 20 kwi 2023, Lisbon: Repository, Slides, Video
  • Deumbrellization – cheap microservices @ warsaw.ex Meetup, 23 lut 2023, Warsaw: Repository, Slides, Video
  • WebSocket in Elixir @ warsaw.ex Meetup, 10 lis 2018, Warsaw: Repository

I authored a static code analysis tool for Elixir that detects potentially unsafe operations in database migrations, excellent_migrations.
