A degree is not enough to learn how to code. Active Specialised Support Groups (ASS-G) are to help students help increase their qualifications and chances for placements and higher studies.

Globally, the demand for technical skills is outpacing student expertise. When faced with the challenge of hiring the right student developers, it’s easy to be overwhelmed with a stack of resumes that look very similar: the same GPA, internships, and extracurricular. Most people use blunt proxies like prestigious degrees or internships at big brands to identify talent. But skills drive the trajectory of the Industry and thereby your self-growth.

So with the Placement Cell of SVCE, the Support groups are formed to aid students of 2nd years to become the best versions of themselves and hence build their profile.
