**Personal growth**. | ||
First, we've started an audit of 2i2c's organizational roles and the responsibilities and the pathways for growth with each of them.
This began with our engineering team, but will continue with other areas of the organization as well.
We believe that defining personal growth trajectories will help identify the gaps in our team's skills that make it more difficult to act efficiently and independently. |

Could we change "personal growth" to "professional growth" or "professional development"? I'd like to highlight that the growth is focused on people's professional skills and qualities.

Thanks for the changes all, blog post is going up now! |
This is a short post to summarize the major changes to team practices and systems over the past three months. It covers both some of our "systems" for planning and delivery (like our boards) as well as changes to our practices and culture (like growing a culture of feedback and autonomy).
It is meant to give us a snapshot of our intentions, and help others understand the ways that we're making improvements. Hopefully it's also useful to other organizations looking for inspiration in how to improve their own coordination and delivery.
cc @haroldcampbell and @aprilmj in case either of you have feedback on this. I welcome comments or direct edits on any of the text. I'll leave the PR until Wednesday in case you (or others) have feedback, and will post it then if there aren't any objections.
