We actually discussed this a little more than a year ago, but it never got implemented. The idea that we had was to combine:
This score can be used to generate a base ranking. User-rating could be factored in later, but we'd prefer avoiding storage of information coming from logged in users for now. |

Ocramius was indeed correct, http://knpbundles.com/ is the perfect example of what I had in mind - cant wait till you guys roll this out, it will make a huge difference to the credibility and over all sentiment of ZF2 |

I have suggested that a rating/vote system be implemented on modules.zendframework.com, this will save time having to sift through hundreds of modules, installing, fiddling and eventually realizing it was a bad quality module, you can also award reputation points to contributors - work it and grow it, it is currently very bland.
