Is the Web Panel staying Gone?

After the announcement that Web Panels was removed it was stated that the plan was to bring it back, but it's been a while and all related issues are closed and I don't see it on the roadmap.
So is that not the plan anymore, and now the panel isn't coming back?

Unfortunately No, the dev removed that feature and by according to dev behavior, it never comes back.
