Data Logging
This application was found on the bimmerforums and I will later edit this post with the authors name and credits as right now I cannot recall or quickly find it.
There are 2x included folders 1 marked standalone with included ediabas (untested for me) and another that interfaces with an ediabas install already on your laptop (If you ever installed INPA/NCS/WINKFP you have this on your laptop and it works) This software requires a K+DCan > usb cable to interface with your car
The application interfaces with Ediabas to get you some live readings from your DME and log them out. My use case for this software is for the me7.2.
Inside of the TestO datalogger folder you will find an app called testo.exe
Start this app up I used the ecu search function and merely typed 7.2
The log I wanted to run was status motor, I selected the options I wanted from there (lambda rpm etc) and clicked the data log button then verified it was saving at the right place and clicked start
This gave me some live logging information for knock fuel throttle rpm lambda and other items to hone my at home tune in
If you have anything to add to this feel free!
