animations

I was using picom on revision e3c19cd7d1108d114552267f302548c113278d45. After changing it to the newest the picom animations were gone.
I have also realised that some commits related to animations are gone and mentioned rev does not belong to any branch in repo.
What happened with animation feature? Is it moved to different branch/repo or it's discontinued? I can see that there is one issue related to animations
