Currently the (broken) code to check for attendance is commented out. May need to also check for attendance.

It used to work intermittently; if you sent the request with 10 retries, there was a good chance that one of them would work. I'm not sure why the endpoint acted so weird (or, more likely, there was something wrong with my code).
