No plans to integrate with a password manager's database. This still is a simple totp cli application with one simple job: store secrets to generate otp codes. Doesn't aim to be more or less. KeePass has a cli (I assume not only one with community projects), if you aim to use keepass use that.
I would like to kindly ask to now try to merge it with keepass or any other password managers. Not just because the project aim to be as simple as possible (as described here as well), but integration with other specific tools/platforms pulls in an unspoken burden to keep it up to date, and for example as soon as kdbx would be used, the next reasonable request would be to follow the same data structure as keepass, which is pretty much useless as there is a tool for that already called keepass and various cli available to interact with its database.

And maybe this can be useful? https://github.com/makovich/kdbx4
