Firmware upload is slow after removing D2XX.jar #21

I have been using a fork from more than 2 years ago that used the D2xx jar. I recently updated to the latest code that doesnt use the D2xx jar. Everything works fine but I noticed that the firmware upload has slowed down significantly.

  • With D2xx jar version, firmware upload takes 14-15 seconds
  • With new version without D2xx jar, firmware upload takes 80-90 seconds for the same hex file

Board Name - ARDUINO_MEGA_2560_ADK
Chip Type - M2560
Upload Protocol - STK500V2

Is there any workaround for this?
