With the beta release of Metal 2 yesterday by Apple, is there a development timeline for supporting this new framework?

I search document with WWDC2017 , i find that Metal 2 is for Mac OS ,not iOS , is it right ?

@minipeach Metal 2 appears to be available for iOS, as well: https://developer.apple.com/metal/
