Question About LSP Parametric Equalizer x32 Stereo Availability in EasyEffects on Ubuntu 25.04

Hello,
I'm using EasyEffects on Ubuntu 25.04 (APT version) and noticed that only LSP Parametric Equalizer x32 Left/Right is available.

However, I specifically need the LSP Parametric Equalizer x32 Stereo version, which is missing from the available plugin list.

Package installed: lsp-plugins-lv2 (APT repository version)
Expected plugin: lsp-plugins-para-equalizer-x32-stereo
Found plugin: lsp-plugins-para-equalizer-x32-lr

Could someone please clarify if the stereo version was removed or renamed, and if there’s a way to access or enable it in EasyEffects?

Also, is there any way to manually add lsp-plugins-para-equalizer-x32-stereo to EasyEffects if it’s not detected automatically? Thank someone in advance.

Unfortunately loading arbitrary plugins is not viable right now. And it may never be. A lot of what EasyEffects does requires custom code for each plugin. Like the presets or the custom window that now is written using Qt.

As a result we usually try to have as few plugins as possible. Because there is a burden in keeping all of them working. So far I have not seen a situation where the left/Right equalizer is not able to do something that stereo variant can.

Thank you very much for the clarification! I completely understand the reasoning behind keeping the number of plugin variants limited - it definitely helps reduce maintenance complexity.
However, the main issue is that the Left/Right version of the equalizer only allows adjusting each channel separately, which makes it rather inconvenient to keep them perfectly synchronized.
For this reason, the Stereo version felt like a more convenient and practical solution for certain use cases.

We have a workaround for this in our window. The Split Channels control. With it you can switch between independent channel controls or forcing the left channel values to be copied to the right channel.

I somehow missed the Split Channels control earlier. I usually used the native LSP window, so I didn’t notice this feature before.

The latest LSP release from a few days ago has a native window control that does something similar. But for older LSP versions the only way to copy the settings from one channel to another is using the split channels control in our custom window.
