Especially for Linux the current instructions are lacking.

Should cover at least the bits and pieces we're currently using for Travis:

git clone git://github.com/Kanma/BLPConverter.git
cd BLPConverter
cmake CMakeLists.txt -DWITH_LIBRARY=YES
sudo make install
sudo ldconfig
