This is an excellent idea, and one we'd find super useful (albeit for a slightly different purpose!). Blueprints would be great for us for setting up a standard test environment and then being able to bootstrap that environment in a number of places. One of the things we strive to do is test every release on a number of different hosts, not just containers or internal hosting. Being able to set up a blueprint for a store that we could apply to a new instance we spin up on Bluehost or Hostgator (to name a couple), would get us a long way towards having a uniform starting point for testing! |
