Unsure how to set Calendar the way I want

Hello, I'm currently using this Calendar Library for a project and I'm wondering if there is a way to fully remove all functionality from the top bar other than swapping views, moving forward or backwards a month, or picking a date?

Hello,

There are many configuration settings available for the calendar to disable parts of the UI.

Take a look here:

However, as the way the project stands, you cannot turn off specific buttons manually.

You can, however, hide them using CSS.

Future work is planned to make disabling/enabling these buttons a little easier.

It does help, thank you for the quick response!

Currently stuck on a new dilemma and I don't see a fix in documentation. Currently, I have it set up so that it loads the appropriate months events when you go to it using the next and previous buttons in month view. However, when you go to a month with the year drop down button I cannot find an appropriate custom trigger to make it load that months events. I am currently debating swapping it to loading by year instead of month.

I'm also currently trying to call a function but only when clicking on a blank calendar cell / date to prompt and struggling on how to properly set it up and trigger.

Would you have any clue on how to approach either of these issues?

Hi,

For your first point, there is currently no custom trigger available when a month is selected from the Drop-Down list. This is planned for a future update, but I will push it up to the next version.

For your second point, take a look at the custom trigger documentation here:

Currently, clicking on a cell will not do anything. Double click will load the Event Editor, however (if Manual Editing is enabled).

Again, this is something I have planned for a future version.
