The day before the conference we usually huddle together as many of the organizing team as possible to sort out practicalities and prepare the venue.

Who must be there:

  • The Venue person, to ensure communication with the venue
  • AV Person to test everything related to the technical stuff
  • Person who's in charge of tickets

What stuff must be there when we start:

  • Badges
  • Plastic pockets
  • Anything that should go into the pockets (vouchers, etc)

Things to remember:

  • Full schedule with details of what happens when to give to the Venue
  • Power outlets for tables in the venue
  • Card board boxes for the badges
  • Enough people to fill the badge pockets
