Security is a top priority for us and our clients, and with this feature, every file uploaded to Webiny will be automatically scanned for malware, viruses, and other threats. This ensures a safe and secure content management experience, protecting your digital assets and your users. Whether you’re managing media files, documents, or customer uploads, our antivirus tool will work seamlessly in the background, providing real-time protection without disrupting your workflow.
Files uploaded into Webiny go directly to the AWS S3 service. A potential scan and threat reporting can be implemented using AWS GuardDuty service. This integration requires changes on both the UX side of Webiny, as well as the infrastructure side, where async event-driven processes need to be implemented to listen for threat reports and act accordingly.
