My display is Sanc N50 Plus 2K 16:9

I chose 16:9（4K/5K/6K） when I create new dummy，is it right？

After I did it as Usage ,my mbp(M1 Pro 14inch)only show the empty just like this:

（Dock and display settings windows are hidden）
I am not sure if this is an unknown bug and I don’t know if this happens, what should I do next?

On the screenshot provided of Displays I don't see a Dummy - it doesn't seem to be connected.

What do you see under the "Manage dummies" submenu (if present) of BetterDummy?

这样设置对吗？我的外置显示器的字体还是很小

有两种情况：

1. 同时使用mbp的内置屏和外接显示器，只需要将外接显示器作为Dummy显示器的镜像即可，mbp的屏幕还是主屏幕。
2. 只使用外接显示器，同样将外接显示器直接作为Dummy显示器的镜像，这时候Dummy显示器会自动变成主屏。

How to solve the problem of too small fonts on the external display? I can't feel what effect this tool does.

Hi @BytePrince

If the fonts are too small, then you should decrese the resolution until the font size is just right for you in this screen:

But if by 2K display you mean a Full HD (1080p) display, then I don't think you'll experience much if any improvement in clarity as the app cannot "magically" increase the number of pixels in your display. Even if you set the resolution to 1920x1080 HiDPI, the only benefit would be if you use the Zooming feature of macOS or create screenshots (as both of these would be 2x in resolution so zoom and screenshot clarity would greatly improve).

But if by 2K display you mean a QHD (2560x1440) display and you feel the font size is too small, then by decreasing the dummy resolution to something like 2304x1296, 2160x1215 or 1920x1080 for example, you'll see font sizes increase without the loss of clarity. One of my family members uses a Mac Mini with a 24" QHD display running at 2304x1296 and it's great. :)
