Brew Version is Outdated

brew info betterdummy shows 1.1.12. Can you please update that?

Some people tend to block internet access for most apps and only update them through brew.

Hi, the latest stable version is 1.1.12, so that should be correct. It is true that it is rather outdated but the 1.2.x development cycle is not yet finished (there are a lot of things to add and settle) so there are only betas beyond 1.1.12.

Ok! If you only want a dummy, that's perfectly fine. The v1.2.x cycle is mostly about some additional things, like brightness and color adjustments, extra brightness for XDR/HDR displays and so on.

oh yeah I read your release notes for the new update. I’ll wait until those features are added and then update. It’ll be really cool to not have to use ControlMonitor (for brightness) and SoundSource/eqMac for audio control on external displays.
