Hi, you could set up an ultrawide aspect ratio and use full-screen streaming instead of mirroring. You can then move the screen to the bottom so it is close to you. This will essentially turn your close-by TV's bottom half into an ultrawide display. I plan to add zooming (in/out) and more flexible position adjustment to full-screen stream mode in an upcoming update. Hope this is useful! |

Hi, When testing with the Mac connected via cable to a monitor and the keyboard and mouse via Bluetooth (also to the Mac) all works perfectly fine. Including, mirroring & streaming & PIP and I now understand and appreciate what these are and how they work - Regarding the PIP window, I had simply opened the PIP for the main display in that display and hence the appearance. In spite of the limitations of my setup, just added an ultra-wide ratio which defaults in the centre and happens to be at a workable height and works fine with my setup; so objective achieved thanks again to Better Dummy for Mac - Very much appreciated. |

Hi,
I've got a Mac Mini M1 without a monitor connected that I access remotely with Chrome Remote Desktop. I do this from either a tablet/phone with the app or a screen with Opera browser.
Would like to use a TV, as my display instead of the monitor, at the desk but appreciate, for comfort, it will be too large to use at the default full size 16:9 aspect ratio.
I'm especially excited to see PIP on Better Dummy v1.1.0-beta9 because I think this in principle could achieve my objective.
Upon testing the PIP with my setup, I found that it showed multiple copies layered in decreasing size. I thought this might be due to way I remote access. Therefore, I connected the monitor directly and found the same upon testing, screenshot attached.
I would like the options to view as a smaller 16:9 or 21:9 (ultra-wide) or 32:9 (super ultra-wide) and position this vertically, at a comfortable height, and possibly horizontally on the TV.
Could this be possible with PIP?
Alternatively, could this be achieved by changing the settings in Better Dummy for Mac?
Very interested to know.

Many thanks again.
