macOS Sequoia 15.2 is required to support Mac Virtual Display Ultrawide on Apple Vision Pro. 10240x2880 resolution can be selected for this combination. Has anyone tested macOS 15.2 with a conventional Ultrawide display to see if the DCP frame buffers have been updated to support this resolution and 5120x1440 HiDPI? |

Yes, they don't seem to support it. The only change is at least Catalyst apps now don't crash with 8K+ virtual screens. |

Yes, native framebuffer resolutions beyond 7680px horizontally does not seem to be possible at this point on any Apple Silicon chips, including the M4 Pro/Max. It might be possible to add this capability later by Apple with an updated DCP firmware but this is conjecture right now.
