Basically HiDPI is breaking when 50hz is set, it used to work just fine. |

Yes, Sequoia changed some things and removed some resolution or refresh rate options. You can try the app's Refresh Rate menu. You can hold SHIFT while opening the menu to force a low-level refresh rate switch, maybe that works. |

I have MacBook M3 with DELL U2722DE - When I used MacOS 14.6 with 1080p HiDPI 60HZ it introduces flickering in some apps - specifically chrome. This is why I was using 1080p HiDPI 50Hz and everything was fine.
Upgraded to Sequoia 15.1 and the option for 1080p HiDPI 50Hz is gone, if I follow specific steps I can choose this combination but then my screen scales to the default 1440p resolution in a strange way - the screen remains in 1080p but the "canvas" is 1440p - it's like I'm zoomed-in all of a sudden but without being able to move left/right.
