BetterDisplay doesn’t support fine scale volume control with native keys

Hi there! I’ve encountered an issue with BetterDisplay. It’s showing the message: “The app is disengaged from native volume and mute keys.” Additionally, it doesn’t seem to support the “Make fine scale default for volume keys” option, which was working previously. I’m using the same monitor and connection setup as before, and I distinctly remember this functionality being available in the past. I’ve attached a screenshot with my monitor details in case it’s helpful. Could you please let me know if there’s a way to re-enable this functionality or if I might be overlooking any settings? It is possible that the current audio device does not match the display's name or DDC audio control is not available/disabled for some reason. You can enable this under DDC Features...

Thank you for your reply! I changed the audio device name in the DDC settings to match my USB-DAC’s name. It seems like it now detects the native volume control keys, but at this point, BetterDisplay is completely unable to control the audio. Could this be a compatibility issue with my DDC?

No, DDC won't work for USB-DACs (those should have volume control using system default means). DDC audio control is only for certain compatible external displays to control their built-in amplifiers.
