Is there any difference between the M4 and M4 Pro in terms of HiDPI support? I'll be trying to get HiDPI for 5120x1440. It seems they both cap at 8K so wouldn't be able to do HiDPI on an ultrawide or super ultrawide but then the M4 Pro has Thunderbolt 5 so not sure if that makes any difference. |

Probably there is no difference. However I had no chance to try an M4 mac yet. :) |

I have an m1 max and I have the same problem of 5120x1440 LoDPI on a 57-inch Samsung Neo G9, now that the m4 is out, do you know if you can already use HiDPI 5120x1440 or higher? I know that since the m3 HDMI 2.1 is already accepted, I don't know which MacBook I should migrate to or if I should wait longer, I'll leave this comment for future updates! |
