Hi @MaximeBermond - honestly I'd upgrade to a 27" 4K display if at all possible. If this is not an option, the best you can do is simply enable HiDPI but as you said, this won't magically solve the picture quality issues. I don't really have any particular recommendations beyond that (I am sorry to say 😞). |

Hi, I connect a Macbook Air M1 8/256 to a 27" Full HD monitor (HP 27f). I know that the PPI is low so the text comes out grainy/blocky. I'm trying BetterDisplay and I must say that by enabling HiDPI at 1920x1080 the text becomes more readable (though not to the level of Windows) and it comes out a little blurry, although to the detriment of performance in some circumstances (with video games for example; when I play Football Manager 2024 the CPU and GPU temperatures go up to 95°). Could you please suggest the best settings to best read text on a 27" 1080p monitor? I am considering purchasing the app, but I would like to see if I can make the text well defined to avoid eye fatigue after a few hours (which does not happen when I connect a Windows notebook to the same monitor). Thank you very much.
