I see. I am not sure what could be the issue - do you experience similar with other displays, or only this one? Afaik Samsung S9 Viewfinity does not support DDC so that might causes the issue, you should disable DDC under the display's tab under Settings/Displays. |

No, I haven't tried another monitor yet. Your suggestion makes sense; I'll try it right away. If I encounter the problem again, I'll let you know. I shared this here because I wanted to see if others had similar experiences and brainstorm together. |

When using the Samsung S9 ViewInfinity monitor with BetterDisplay, the screen often locks and remains black. Even pressing the monitor's power button does not resolve the issue. The only solution is to unplug the monitor's power and plug it back in and quitting BetterDisplay app. (i'm licensed user)
