Right, this is not ideal. I investigated the problem somewhat deeper, the problem is that Sparkle is not really suited for modern SwiftUI apps, it handles its own UI entirely separately. An approach would be to replace the entire UI (it provides a way to do that) but that is somewhat complicated and not worth it I think. An alternative might be to move something simpler or maybe create a customized update framework reusing existing lightweight tools like https://github.com/mxcl/AppUpdater or improved variant like https://github.com/s1ntoneli/AppUpdater. Still thinking about what to do. |

I just updated to 3.1.2 and now I'm not able to clear the "You're up to date!" window. Clicking anywhere within the window produces the macOS alert sound. Since the window sits on top of every other window, I have to quit BetterDisplay via the Activity Monitor to escape from this. I'm running macOS 14.6.1. |
