Right, an option for this should be added. |

"This is where BetterDisplay kicks in and also sofware dims the projector automatically" - I might not be correct but this is because keyboard control is set to control all displays at once? If so, then it's now better/possible to configure syncing where you can exactly define which displays are included and which are not in brightness syncing. Also, with the upcoming v2.3.5 version you can simply hold SHIFT while changing brightness (or using the slider) to avoid sync propagating the change to other displays in general. #3051 I'll close this now, but let me know if I misunderstood this issue. |

When connecting a new display, software dimming automatically gets enabled. I often connect my laptop to a projector and then manually lower the display brightness to zero to save battery. This is where BetterDisplay kicks in and also sofware dims the projector automatically and I have to go to settings and disable software dimming for every new projector. I'd love a app-wide option to disable/not automatically enable software adjustments for each new device.
