The set-up instructions work until I get to "hold the Option key again and click Scaled", which does not yield a pop-up menu with resolution options. My menu bar is still mostly hidden, and the Apple menu icon is completely hidden. I can push the cursor into the menu bar and click, which opens the icon, but I cannot adjust the resolution so that the menu bar is visible at all times. The Dock works fine if I keep it at the bottom. Also, the Zoom function is disabled: I only have a "zoomed in" appearance (which is apparently expanding the menu bar icons so they are only half visible), and cannot adjust it.

Hi, the problem is probably that macOS detect your display as a TV and applies some kind of overscan by default for the base resolution which it uses in mirroring scenarios. If this is the problem, there is no easy way around it - you can try the v1.1.0 beta version's Full screen stream option as that does not involve mirroring.
