Hi there, well, there is a very high chance that the PD2705U does not support DDC audio volume control just like it's pricier sibling the PD2725U: MonitorControl/MonitorControl#576 You can disable the DDC volume icon in the app menu and use alternatives like eqMac or some other software based audio control solution for digital audio devices that cannot be otherwise controlled. :) |

Hey there,
Hope this message finds you well! I've been absolutely loving the way BetterDisplay has been transforming my monitor experience, especially when it comes to adjusting brightness on my trusty BenQ PD2705U screens. Seriously, game-changer!
But hey, I've stumbled upon a little hiccup, and I figured who better to reach out to than the wizards behind the curtain, right? Here's the scoop: while BetterDisplay is doing wonders with brightness, it seems to be having a bit of trouble playing nice with the audio settings on my monitors.
Now, I've got a duo of BenQ PD2705U monitors, both equipped with the slick DDC feature. Yet, when it comes to tweaking the volume through BetterDisplay, it's like hitting a bit of a snag. I can see the volume icon, teasing me with its promise of adjustment, but alas, no actual change in audio quality. I've tinkered with all the settings I can find within the app, but no luck so far.
I'm reaching out with a little plea for help! Any insights or tips you could share to help me unlock the full potential of BetterDisplay and get those audio controls singing along would be absolutely fantastic.
Thanks a ton for taking the time to hear me out, and for all the incredible work you do on BetterDisplay. Looking forward to hearing back from you soon!
Cheers,
Laucy95
