Mirror Virtual Display to Blackmagic / Aja Output Cards #2684

It might be interesting to add support for these. I worked with Deckling cards in the past (in Windows/Linux environments). I am not sure how their API works in macOS and don't know how to send video data to them (I used ffmpeg which has built-in blackmagic support, so I did not have to deal with any low-level stuff), but they must have some API or documentation for sure. An other limitation is that I don't have any hardware to test on. :) I was/am planning to add NDI output (and low latency Video Toolbox) in the future for virtual screens, so adding support for some SDI cards at some point would fit right in. |

Hi,
i would like to bring an idea in.
for Mac users we are still limited in PRO AV Productions due to missing framesynced outputs on MACs.
with better Display it might be possible to go further when it could support for mirroring Virtual Monitors to AV IO Cards.
For me, i am using Blackmagic Decklink 8K Pro and AJA KONA 5 as an 8K Output Card with 4 x SDI.
Aja is better choice, but for example in resolume and millumin its not supported. Blackmagic Cards works fine in both Apps, but yeah just outputing the App Output, not a Desktop.
there are workarounds with Syphon / NDI to bring a desktop to those cards, but i think it could be faster and easier if this function is integrated in Better Display?!
what you think?
