Configure mirroring under Displays in Monterey #242
-
First of all, thanks so much for creating this amazing tool! It has been working great on my setup with an Apple silicon macbook on Monterey 12.0 and an LG UWQHD monitor. Unfortunately it seems to stop working since the update to Monterey 12.1. The dummy still could be successfully created and its resolution was also adjustable. But it looks like a separate display in the 'display menu' in setting (see below) and the actual external display stays in the original resolution (non-HiDPI 3440x1440). The issue exists in both clamshell (closed lid) and open lid mode. Not sure if anyone else also has this issue. Any suggestion? |

Hi @zifanjiang - the display does not seem to be mirrored. You should go to Displays, and on the screen you made a screenshot of, right click the main display and select "Mirror for Dummy..." - that should fix the problem. |
