Hmm. Interesting. I don't see how could the XCode update interfere with BetterDummy but regardless, it could be possible. Thanks for mentioning this, it is going to be useful for other users. Next time I'll update XCode, I'll try it with BetterDummy running to see it for myself. |

Hi,
I could not update Xcode from 13.0 to 13.1 while using BetterDummy. I am not sure that BD was the cause, but it seems so.
Headless Mac mini running macOS 12.1 beta 4, used via Screen Sharing.
Mac App Store started to update Xcode, then after some time the screen resolution changed to the default resolution, then immediately changed again to the resolution I choose with BD (maybe BD was relaunched?). This happened multiple times (probably the update restarted each time), and Xcode update never ended.
After a few hours, I deleted Xcode 13.0 (rm -Rf ...) and rebooted. Mac App Store still tried to install Xcode 13.1, same problem during 1 or 2 hours.
Then I finally quit BetterDummy, and then Xcode 13 installed succesfully.
