Hey, so I mirrored my Monitor and running it at 2560x1080p But sadly World of Warcraft and other Games show a Resolution of 5220x2000 and even render on this Resolution, is it possible to "fixate" the Resolution on the one I pick and do you know why the game shows the double Resolution? Prob. Because it is mirrored? |

Try enabling Settings/Show low resolution modes in menu and select a low resolution mode under Manage dummies/Set resolution. Does the game render at low resolution then as well? |

That works fine, then Ingame it also renders 2560x1080p as expected, but when enabling Low-Resolution Mode, then the quality is worse again, but I guess that is the trick here? So I can just pick either one of both? The main reason I run lower Resolution is, that the M1 isn't powerful enough. My Monitor is 3440x1440 and renders fine on this Resoultion, but to play World of Warcraft, I have to run on 2560x1080p but on 2560x1080p the Text just looks horrible. |

The game will simply render at the current resolution. If you select simply 2560x1080, that will be a so-called HiDPI resolution which in reality is 4x in pixel count (5120x2160). The same would happen without BetterDummy when using HiDPI resolution as well. Some games have a scaling option where you can change the render resolution to 50% for example. If thi sis not the case with this game, then you have to lower the resolution before starting the game and then restore it to HiDPI afterwards. I am afraid there is no other way. Hope this helps! |
