Comments
"Hello, @waydabber! I'm excited to have the opportunity to volunteer for Korean localization this time. |
Great, thank you! updated the Localization file here: #2165 Just download |
Hello @waydabber , I'm glad to be working as the pair Korean translator :D |
@Ryan-Dia, Can you tell me the progress of the current work? |
Thanks @hw0603! Let me know if you guys need my help in any way or need coordination in dividing up the task! |
I updated the localization file in the waydabber/BetterDisplay#2165 opening post to reflect the latest v2.1.0 pre-release version. Let me know if you have any questions or issues with the translation. Also, if there is a partial translation and you want me to compile a version with it included so you can see the existing progress in the app itself, let me know! :) |
Hello, it's been a while @waydabber I couldn't reach other translators, so I'm sharing the results of translating some of the characters I worked on personally. I worked on the Since the 'string' was simply translated, there may be some awkward translations because the context in which the string was used could not be determined within the program. If you can temporarily build a version including this translation so that we can check the context, it would be helpful for me to work on it. |
Hi @hw0603 - sure, I'll import this into the app and create an interim build + update the translation files. |
Hi all, updated the localization file and uploaded an interim build. See the main post here towards the bottom half of the post. |
I used the translation testing build uploaded yesterday to correct awkward phrases to context, and translated more strings. Translation of most strings has been completed, except for short words whose context is somewhat ambiguous. The completion rate of the translation is estimated to be around 90%, and after one more translation test through the temporary build, I expect to be able to add the Korean translation to the official build. |
Great progress, thanks @hw0603 I updated the build and the localization file. |
I made some changes in how you BetterDisplay localization works. Here is the announcement: waydabber/BetterDisplay#2165 (comment) |

There is a new pre-release with the latest localizations. https://github.com/waydabber/BetterDisplay/releases If everything goes well, I will soon release a proper stable version. Just wanted to let you know as you may want to have some of the missing strings localized so it will be 100% in the release. :) |
